FAQs for Renewing Subscribers

Renewing Subscribers: We hope you are thrilled with our 18/19 season lineup and that you will join us for another fantastic year of Broadway in Cincinnati.  Due to a record numbers of subscribers, some changes are taking place this year with your subscription, and we wanted to give you as much information as possible here.  If you still have questions, please call us Mon-Fri, 9am-5pm at 800.294.1816.

How do I renew?
You can renew online at BroadwayInCincinnati.com, call us at 800.294.1816 M-F 9am – 5pm, bring your completed renewal invoice to the Aronoff Center Box Office M-F 9am-5:30pm, or mail your completed invoice to:
Broadway Across America
PO Box 28048
New York, NY 10087-8048

How long is the renewal period?
About 3 ½ weeks.  Renewals will begin on 2/10 and the deadline is 3/6.

Will my seats really be gone on March 6?
Due to the demand for the upcoming season, we are unable to offer an extension on the renewal deadline. All un-renewed seats will be released after March 6.

How does the payment plan work?
You will pay ¼ of your season cost at the time of renewal. Payment plans must be paid via credit card that expires AFTER June 2018. The remaining 3 payments will automatically be charged to your card on the designated due dates. (April 9, May 14, and June 18) Payments are charged at least 30 days apart so you don’t end up with 2 payments on one billing cycle. We will notify you via email when a payment is coming up.

Can I pay for my payment plan with a check? Cash?
No, only credit cards can be associated with a payment plan.

Do I have the option of adding all three one-week Season Option shows?
Yes, you have the option of purchasing a 7, 8, or 9 show season package. Since the 3 opt-ins are only here for one week, seating is sold on a first-come, first-served basis.

Will I be able to upgrade or change the day of the week of my subscription seats?Because 18/19 subscription numbers are the highest we’ve ever had, we unfortunately do not have the available inventory to be able to offer seat upgrades, changes, or additional subscriptions. Seat changes will only be available on a show by show basis, after the payment plan period has ended.

Can I buy a new subscription for the 18/19 season or add seats to my subscription? Can I be put on a waitlist?
We have sold the maximum number of available subscriptions at this time.  No new subscriptions are available for sale.  We encourage anyone interested in information about new subscriptions to sign up here

Will parking passes be included in patron level subscriptions? If so will they be for the same parking garages as last year?
Parking passes will remain a benefit of a patron level subscription (PL A,B,C), but we have not yet confirmed which garages will be participating for the 18/19 season. BroadwayinCincinnati.com/patronparking will be updated as more information becomes available.

There’s a show on the season I’ve already seen, or something I don’t want to see.
We understand that there may be a returning favorite that you don’t want to see again.  We are happy to offer subscribers the Swap-A-Show benefit again this year. You are welcome to swap your tickets out of any show on your package and into any other show on the season, with the exception that while you can swap out of HAMILTON, you cannot swap tickets into HAMILTON.  (Note: Swapping seats for another show is subject to availability.  The difference in price must be paid when exchanging into a higher priced show, performance date or seating location.)  The Swap-A-Show benefit will be available once exchanges become enabled later in the spring, and must be completed by August 20, 2018.

Please keep in mind, if you aren’t able to use your subscription tickets, you can always donate them for a tax deduction through Cincinnati non-profit Most Valuable Kids.  You can donate directly through your online account.

What are the recommended ages for each show?
Please refer to the Broadway in Cincinnati Family Guide

Why do I not have the same seats for the one-week Season Options?
THE PLAY THAT GOES WRONG, ON YOUR FEET! and CATS are one-week engagements. Usual subscription seating and performance date are not guaranteed; seats are assigned on a first-come, first-sold basis. We’re happy to try and find the closest seats to your location for your preferred show.

When can I buy additional tickets?
Please note that additional ticket purchases and ticket exchanges are not available at the time of renewal for any show. You will receive a notification when your access begins after the renewal process. No additional subscription tickets will be available for HAMILTON.

Can I use mobile tickets or print my tickets at home?
To ensure the validity of tickets, all subscription tickets will be mailed to you. Printing at home will not be available this year. HAMILTON tickets will be mailed separately from your subscription package, at a date closer to the event. We will notify you when they are coming.

When will single tickets go on sale?
Join the Broadway in Cincinnati eCLUB for advance notice of single ticket on-sale dates.

Are group tickets available? How many tickets constitute a group?
Group tickets for all shows except HAMILTON and the one-week engagements will go on sale Monday, 2/12. HAMILTON does not offer tickets to be sold via group sales. DEAR EVAN HANSEN group minimum is 15, all other shows have a group minimum of 10 people.

Will I be able to buy additional HAMILTON tickets?
While you’ll enjoy your subscriber access to purchase additional tickets prior to the public for most shows on the season, no additional subscription tickets will be available to purchase for HAMILTON.  This is due to the overwhelming demand for season tickets this year.  Subscribers will have the opportunity to try to purchase seats during the general public on-sale.

When will I get my HAMILTON subscription tickets?
To ensure the validity and security of your tickets, all subscription tickets will be mailed to you. Printing at home will not be available this year. Hamilton tickets will be mailed separately from your subscription package, at a date closer to the event. We will notify you when they are coming.

Can I exchange my HAMILTON tickets for another performance?
Subscriber ticket exchanges for HAMILTON will be restricted, and tickets for HAMILTON cannot be transferred online. You will be notified when the exchange window of HAMILTON will begin.

Can I buy group tickets to HAMILTON?
Unfortunately due to high demand, no group sales tickets will be available for HAMILTON.
