The 5-1-3 with CHICAGO’s Mama Morton, Jennifer Fouché

Here at Broadway in Cincinnati, there’s nothing we love more than when Cincinnatians who started out seeing Broadway shows in the Queen City return to perform on the Aronoff stage.  When we have locals coming to town, we like to ask them a few questions we call “The 5-1-3.”

Meet Jennifer Fouché, CHICAGO’s “Mama Morton”

LOCAL CONNECTIONS: Jennifer Fouché lived in Cincinnati for ten years, got married here, studied classical voice with Donna Connelly at CCM, and had a very respectable following in the gay community. Cincinnati is where her acting career began and the Aronoff is where she saw her first Broadway show and decided to travel to NY to become an actor.

FIVE: Five of your favorite things

  • Star Wars
  • Horseback riding
  • Marvel (comics & movies)
  • Christmas
  • Cooking

ONE:  Your #1 or First Broadway Show

My first Broadway show was CATS and I saw it at the Aronoff… as it turns out, that show was instrumental in my decision to leave the music industry and study to become an actor.

THREE: How do you take your 3-Way (or what’s your Skyline order?)

Two hot doggy cheese please! with a side of oyster crackers! I’m a fourth grader at heart. I actually used to work at Skyline!
