No Bake Peach Pie

1/2 cup water
2/3 cup sugar
3 Tablespoons cornstarch
1 Tablespoon butter
6 FRESH peaches
1 graham cracker pie crust (9″)
Mix together water, sugar, cornstarch and butter in a small saucepan over medium heat. When the mixture comes to a boil, add a few slices of peaches, then lower heat to low and simmer until thick and smooth. Remove from heat, allow to completely cool.
Place the remaining peach slices into the graham crust and drizzle the sauce to cover. Refrigerate overnight.
Add a dollop of Whipped topping and a pinch of ginger, cloves, nutmeg or allspice
